Principal & 6-8 Grade Teacher
Ethan Doble
Ethan Doble is the principal and upper grades teacher at Christ Lutheran School. Born in New Ulm, Minnesota, in 1996, he spent most of his childhood in Michigan. He graduated from Martin Luther College in the spring of 2018. Following his graduation, he was called to serve as the principal and upper grades teacher at Zion Lutheran School in Valentine, Nebraska. During his time at Martin Luther College, Ethan met his wife, Emma. In 2020, they were blessed with a daughter, Ella. In his free time, Ethan enjoys a variety of activities, including hunting, fishing, camping, and sports.

Music & 3-5 Grade Teacher
Elena Thoma
Elena Thoma is a 2022 graduate from Martin Luther College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Before attending MLC, Elena graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School in 2018. She enjoys spending time in God's creation, exploring the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Elena has four siblings, and both of her parents are called workers serving in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. She also enjoys all aspects of music including singing and playing a variety of instruments. Miss Thoma is serving as our middle grades teacher, teaching grades 3-5.

Hannah Rassat
Hannah Rassat recently moved to Eagle River and couldn’t be more excited to call it home. She grew up in South Haven, Minnesota, where she lived her whole life before graduating from Martin Luther College in December of 2024. She has always loved being surrounded by nature, and when she's not reading a good book, you can usually find her enjoying the outdoors.

Preschool & Kindergarten Teacher
Emma Doble
Emma Doble grew up in California, Texas, and Florida before attending Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. She enjoys being outdoors, crafting, and teaching. Emma taught K-3rd grade in Valentine, Nebraska, for two years. In August 2020, she and her husband, Ethan, welcomed their daughter, Ella. Emma is looking forward to meeting students and families and teaching God's little lambs in Christ's Preschool and Kindergarten.

Kathy Boehm
Kathy Boehm was born and raised in Illinois before moving to Conover, WI, where she and her husband, Karl, owned and operated a resort for 32 years. During that time, Kathy also served as the school secretary at Christ Lutheran School from 2008 to 2017. She and Karl are blessed with three grown children and five grandchildren. Kathy enjoys spending time outdoors — especially camping and kayaking in the summer — and she loves reading, particularly when she can share a good book with her grandchildren.
